East of England Vets - Jo

Jo - FdsVN CertFVHNUT RVN

Jo qualified in 2011 from the Royal Veterinary College with a foundation degree in veterinary nursing. Jo worked in general mixed practices, before joining a multidisciplinary referral hospital in 2012 as a rotation nurse, working in wards, theatre and internal medicine. She then joined the internal medicine team before moving to wards. During this time, she gained a certificate in canine and feline veterinary health nutrition and is currently studying for the advanced feline diploma, which she hopes to complete in October 2018. Jo became a lecturer at the College of Animal Welfare in 2017 but decided to go back into practice as she misses veterinary nursing and the patients (especially the cats!).

Jo joined East of England Veterinary Specialists in May 2018 and has a keen interest in feline medicine, emergency and critical care, theatre practice and ward-based nursing. Jo has 2 cats: Loa and Stitch who love to get up to mischief. Jo is also our 'Cat Advocate', as part of our Cat Friendly Status.
